Shop for the Cure® opens at Mall of America®

WHAT: Susan G. Komen Twin Cities Race for the Cure® will open its trademark pink Shop for the Cure® kiosk in the Rotunda April 9. New merchandise for sale this year will include photo albums, watches, apparel adorned with the new logo and, to mark the fishing opener, pink fishing lures donated by Rapala®. Minnesota Twins fans who want to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation, special vouchers for the May 13 Mother's Day game will be available at the kiosk. When purchasing a ticket online or at the box office, the voucher will direct $5 from each ticket sale to the foundation. Ticket holders will also be seated in a special section and encouraged to wear pink during the nationally televised game.

In addition to funding breast cancer research, education, screening and preliminary treatment, proceeds from Shop for the Cure and the Race for the Cure® benefit uninsured and underinsured women and men in all 87 counties in the Minnesota.

Visitors can pre-register for Race for the Cure at the kiosk. For more information visit www.komenminnesota.org or www.mallofamerica.com.
