The process for becoming a Mall of America Security Officer is very competitive and only a small percentage of applicants are offered a position of employment.

In order to increase the chances of becoming a security officer with our department, the ideal candidate should possess at least one of the following: prior security / law enforcement experience or some related college education. A viable candidate should also have favorable work experiences, good driving history and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
