Negro Baseball League
July 17, 2008

A few of the last remaining members of the Negro Baseball League will be visiting Mall of America® for an appearance and autograph signing. Their mission is to take you back to the yesterday of the league. Even though most of the players who played in the former Negro League have passed, their courageous dreams still live on. Today, there are less than 175 players living who played in the former league.

The Yesterday's Negro League Baseball Players Foundation (YNLBP LLC), was formed in 1996 by former Negro Baseball players Dennis "Bose" Biddle of the Chicago American Giants and Sherwood Brewer, former player of the Kansas City Monarchs and Indianapolis Clowns. The YNLBP Foundation is the official foundation and representation for all living players of the former Negro Baseball League. YNLBP LLC goal is to continue the process of educating the world about the Negro League, so that America never forgets the hardships that befell the early black baseball players.
