Oslo Reiselivskor (Oslo Travel Industry Choir) was established in 1992, and consists of 35 singers employed in the travel industry in Oslo (hotels, travel agencies, airlines etc). They sing popular music, Norwegian music, musicals, hits, theme music like latino/salsa etc. They travel a lot, and have been to Finland, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Germany, China, Denmark and all over Norway during the last years. They have also been used in recent Norwegian films and tv-performances. They perform a lot in Oslo at different events, they do pop-ups, sing for companies and arrange their own concerts.
This year the choir celebrates its 20th anniversary by traveling to the Twin Cities in Minnesota to sing at different events. Their repertoire will be typical Norwegian songs – both old and new. Their conductor is Egil Fossum, a skilled pianist, singer and composer. He arranges most of their repertoire. They will perform in their national costumes – the BUNADs.
