The Salvation Army’s red kettles and bell ringers are out at all mall entrances, along with Macy's and Sears entrances through December 23, excluding Sundays. You will be helping those in need when you donate. The iconic red kettles are responsible for bringing in nearly $3 million of the Army’s $12 million Christmas goal in the Twin Cities each year. The Salvation Army also needs volunteer bell ringers at the Mall of America. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night. Please visit our website to sign up or to see other volunteer opportunities.
