The green flag drops at 1p.m. to start the Northern Star Council Pinewood Derby Championship.  Earlier this year Cub Scouts began racing their cars at the Pack level with the winners advancing to District races, and now to the Council Championship. You can expect close competition since these are the fastest cars representing over 38,000 Tiger, Cub and Webelos Scouts eligible to compete.

The action continues on Sunday, June 1 with an open invitational for any current or former scout to race their pinewood derby car. Throughout the weekend the public will have the opportunity to challenge their friends to individual races!
