Grab your purple gear and walking shoes for the day-long event in support and recognition of Purple Day® - World Epilepsy Day™, the largest international epilepsy awareness day in the world. The goal of the event is to increase community awareness of the one-in-four children and their families who live with a neurologic disorder. The day will kick off with a walk around the Mall followed by the Brain Games hosted by local organizations to engage guests in learning about health and wellness while having a bit of fun! Registration begins at 7 a.m. and the walk begins at 8:15 a.m. The WTCJA is an event to raise funds and create awareness to fight juvenile arthritis. More children have arthritis than juvenile diabetes, cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy COMBINED.
