John Grogan, celebrated author of "Marley & Me" will be appearing at Mall of America in conjuction with Dog Days at MOA, a week long event to promote awareness and raise funds for Home for Life animal sanctuary. Dog Days features an exhibit of 20 pet houses designed through collaberative efforts between local celebrities and artists and architects, as well as daily visits from the Home for Life animals and a Barnes & Noble® Spot the Dog appearance. John Grogan was a columnist at the Philadelphia Inquirer when he wrote a colum saying goodbye to his incorrigible 13-year-old Labrador retriever, Marley. When hundred of messages flooded his inbox and voicemail the next day, John recalls, "That's when I knew I had a bigger story to tell."
