Through partnerships with Rainbow Health, OutFront Minnesota, Twin Cities Pride, Bloomington Pride, and Red Ribbon Ride, Mall of America® is committed to building community and making sure our LGBTQIA neighbors feel represented, safe, and celebrated.
These partnerships serve to educate team members and guests about inclusivity, pronoun use, and the needs of subgroups within our community. They enliven the Mall’s festivities and create a safe space for our team to have fun while learning in a setting that may have previously felt uncomfortable or unknown. They give us opportunities to more deeply understand our colleagues and guests year-round. And they promote unity, love, compassion, and effort—a beacon of hope for those who live with uncertainty and sacrifice every day. The Mall stands in solidarity with those who have historically struggled to have their voices heard.
We have a long way to go; the Mall’s relationships with these organizations are still in their infancy—a sapling we are committed to nurturing over time.
