  4. 2014 Minnesota Kendama Open

    Sweets Kendamas presents The 2014 Minnesota Kendama Open. Featuring Pro Kendama Players from around the world competing head-to-head for the title of MKO champion. Players can compete in Beginner, Intermediate, or Open Brackets. Advanced players will compete alongside the Pros in the Open Bracket. You can pre-register here beginning October 17.

  7. Toddler Tuesdays: Soccer with Minnesota United FC

    Practice your soccer skills and play fun games with Minnesota United FC! Craig Mallace, Director of Camps & Youth Development, will introduce you to soccer and run activities from 10-10:30 and 11-11:30 a.m. You can also meet the MN United mascot and work on fun soccer-themed crafts all morning.

  8. Vom Fass Presents: Scotch Cultural Celebration

    The Minnesota Scottish Community welcomes Stewart Laing in a Scotch Cultural Celebration. Laing is a world class Scotch expert who will be offering insights into how to drink and enjoy Scotch whisky. In addition, come check out the Highland Dancers, Macalester College Pipe Band, and join in some Scottish cultural education. Wear a kilt to be registered to win a 750 ml bottle of Mac Spey Hunter Laing blended scotch. And kids - enter our coloring contest.

  9. The 1975 Acoustic Performance and Meet + Greet

    Critics have been bemused and thrilled by the Manchester four-piece and their amorphous drifts between brooding art rock, crisp electronica, dancefloor R&B, and 80s gloss pop.   15. World Diabetes Week Awareness Event

    Please join Novo Nordisk, JDRF, the American Diabetes Association and other community health professionals as we join together to heighten awareness around a disease that will affect 1 in 3 American adults by the year 2050 and millions of children worldwide.  Event participants will have a chance meet an Indy race car driver, celebrity chef from the food network, professional bicyclist and motivational speakers.  Diabetes educational resources will be provided to all attendees.  Don’t miss the world record event where we will “lace up for diabetes”.

This exciting, family-friendly event helps raise funds to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.   19. Walk to End Hunger

    Give back before giving thanks this Thanksgiving morning at the Walk to End Hunger. A great family tradition that raises money to end hunger in our community. Event includes fun, “break a smile” activities on Level One for kids of all ages including music, games and activities, prizes, balloon animals, photo ops, visits with Santa and craft activities.  “Break a Sweat” on Level Two with a brisker pace and workout activities for the whole family.

  20. Rixton Black Friday Performance + Signing

    British Pop/Rock/R&B band Rixton made their US debut with Me And My Broken Heart EP on March 18. Following release, the music video for the title track and their first single premiered on MTV worldwide while the song has already cracked the Top 20 chart. Hailing from Manchester, UK foursome Rixton are lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jake Roche, bass/keys, backing vocalist Danny Wilkin, lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Charley Bagnall, and drummer Lewi Morgan.
