MOA® has earned a national reputation for entertaining guests with celebrity appearances, musical performances, charitable initiatives, product launches, book signings and movie premieres.

  1. Universe of Light: Birthday Nighttime Spectacular

    Monday - Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
    South Entrance to NU

    Mall of America® guests will be brought together nightly for an experience that will take visitors on an emotional journey through music and lights. Universe of Light will underscore the unexpected and surprising characteristics of MOA, combined with the fun, playful nature of Nickelodeon Universe. The nine-minute light show is an ongoing attraction for mall visitors. Lights, music and smoke effects will transform the air space into a Technicolor dream that is sure to excite and engage. Universe of Light uses strobe lights and smoke effects.

  2. Luther Auto Luxury Car Display

    Now - Sunday, June 4
    Mall Hours

    Come check out the North Entrance Atrium, to see the latest line-up of Luther Luxury vehicles. This display features the stunning 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia, 2017 Infinity QX60, 2017 Acura MDX, 2017 Hyundai Genesis 60, 2017 Range Rover and the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace.  For more info on these cars or to schedule a test drive please check out the website.

  3. Music in the Mall

    Friday, May 26
    Performances at 10 a.m., Noon and 2 p.m.
    Sears Court

    Mall of America® has an exciting opportunity for school and community groups to perform and share their talents with Mall guests through the MOA Music in the Mall. Join Lewiston Jazz Band, Negaunee National Anthem Chorus and McGuire Middle School Jazz Band and Show Choir for special performances in Sears Court! This series runs January through mid-November and is available on select days each month.

  4. Disney Store Pirates Event

    Saturday, May 27
    Sessions start at 1:30, 2:30 + 3:30 p.m.
    Disney Store

    Join the Disney Store for a fun in store event to celebrate the new movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales". Guests age 3 and up are invited to set sail on a quest around the store to complete their astrology map and find Poseidon's Trident!  There will be on screen videos to watch, adventure games to play and even Pirate Booty to bring home! Note: NO Disney characters will be present and there will not be a screening of the movie. Guests are encouraged to dress up in costumes as they wish!  It's a pirate party!

    This is a free event requiring no registration, however space is limited to the first 50 attendees who arrive for each session.

  5. Toddler Tuesdays: Blaze

    Tuesday, May 30
    10 a.m. - noon

    Let’s Blaze! Blaze is inviting you to rev up and roll out with him and his Monster Machine friends! Stay to watch an episode, go on the Blaze test track with strider bikes and more! This is surely an event you’ll want to race to be at!

  6. JoJo Siwa: My World Special Concert Taping

    Saturday, June 3

    Join JoJo Siwa at Mall of America for a live performance and taping as part of her Nickelodeon special, JoJo Siwa: My World! Siwa skyrocketed to fame after starring on Lifetime's Dance Moms and her special will highlight her 13-year journey all leading up to her first live performance in the Rotunda! Siwa will be performing her smash hit "Boomerang" in addition to her new songs "Hold the Drama" and "Kid in a Candy Store." Please note this event will be filmed for air on Nickelodeon.   8. Summer Harvest for Kids

    Thursday, June 8
    4:30 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.

    When school is out for summer over 250,000 Minnesota kids lose access to free & reduced priced meals at school. The 5 Eyewitness News Summer Harvest for Kids campaign was created because we believe no Minnesota kid should go hungry over the summer months. We’ve teamed up with local leaders in hunger relief to raise funds and awareness for four local charities. 5 Eyewitness News will host a phone bank beginning in our 4:30 a.m. newscast and airing all day through our 10:30 p.m. newscast. We will have celebrity volunteers answering phones, anchors reporting live, and a stage filled with entertainment throughout the day. Join us for this annual community event! We know together we can raise $150,000 in 18 hours for our Minnesota Kids! 

  9. Ordway Annie Auditions

    Saturday, June 10
    10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

    The Ordway is hosting open auditions for girls 6 and older and under five feet tall to star in its cast of the upcoming holiday production, Annie, running December 7 - 31, 2017. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to star as one of the orphans at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. Registration for auditions is currently full.

  10. Woodchuck at Debut: Shop for Kindness

    Noon - 5 p.m.
    Debut: Shop for Kindness

    Come check out Woodchuck USA to get some killer personalized gifts for dad this Father’s Day. Woodchuck’s team will be bringing in a laser to custom engrave their handcrafted wood products. With every product purchased a tree is planted. Don’t miss out!

  11. Kevin Hart Book Signing

    Sunday, June 11
    1 p.m.

    From comedian, to movie star to now, a book author, Kevin Hart is stopping by to sign copies of his newest book I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons. Kevin Hart turns his immense talent to the written word by writing some words. Some of those words include: the, a, for, above, and even even. Put them together and you have the funniest, most heartfelt, and most inspirational memoir on survival, success, and the importance of believing in yourself since Old Yeller.   12. Toddler Tuesdays: Tall Tales

    Tuesday, June 13
    10 a.m. - noon

    What happens when you combine the classic tales of Jack and the Bean Stalk, Rapunzel and Mother Goose? Come find out! Story time will be at 10 + 11 a.m. Then stick around to meet the characters themselves, but with a tall twist. Prance on by the BAMBI table to create a craft themed around the classic film and enter-to-win a digital copy of the movie!

  13. South Metro Job Fair

    Wednesday, June 14
    10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

    The South Metro Job Fair can help you find the job that's right for you! There will be up to 40+ participating metro area employers in attendance. You will have the opportunity to talk to company representatives about current job openings, pick up company information, complete company application forms, learn job responsibilities and performance requirements, practice the job-seeking skills that get people hired and more! Don't forget to wear appropriate business attire and to bring your resume!

  14. Midwest Regional Yo-Yo Championships

    Saturday, June 17
    10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

    Join us at Mall of America for the 20th annual Midwest Regional Yo-Yo Championships! All skill levels from novice to pro are encouraged to compete. Participants are able to compete in divisions such as Sport Ladder and the Championship level "1A," "2A," "3A," "4A," and "5A" divisions.

  15. Cheers for Charity

    Saturday, June 17
    1 - 5 p.m.

    Join us for Cheers for Charity, an annual fundraiser hosted by the Bloomington Noon Rotary Club! Enjoy unlimited samples from your favorite craft breweries while supporting local charities. Admission is $45 per person ($10 for designated drivers) and includes a commemorative tasting glass and unlimited samples. This year, we welcome a new charity partner - The Pinky Swear Foundation, whose mission is to provide financial and emotional support for families affected by childhood cancer. There is ample parking and easy access to the Metro Transit station. 100% of the net proceeds go to local community charities, including the Courage Kenny Foundation, Oasis for Youth, and VEAP.

  17. Toddler Tuesdays: Sandy Cheeks

  18. Toddler Tuesdays: "Shrek the Musical" presented by Stages Theatre

    Tuesday, June 27
    10 a.m. - noon

    The rousing fairy tale adventure of an ogre turned unlikely hero galumphs onto our main stage this summer in this Tony Award-winning musical based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film. A wise-cracking Donkey, a feisty princess, a short-tempered villain, a cookie with an attitude and dozens of fairy tale misfits stir up the kind of muddled mayhem that calls for a real hero. Fortunately, Shrek is on the way! Preview performances will be held at 10 + 11 a.m.

  19. X Games Minneapolis: Harley-Davidson Flat Track Racing

    Thursday, July 13
    5 - 10 p.m.
    Race begins at 8 p.m.
    East Lot off of 24th Avenue

    In Harley-Davison Flat Track Racing, motorcycle racers compete against one another on an oval dirt track 3/8 of mile and longer, aboard twin-engine motorcycles at speeds reaching up to 100mph. Racers hurl themselves sideways into turns where their handlebars are within inches of each other and often several riders abreast.   20. World's Largest Birthday Celebration

    8 a.m. - 10 p.m.

    The World’s Largest Birthday Celebration would love your participation! Mall of America and Simon Says Give are joining forces to assemble 2,500 birthdays in a box to support kids in need.
