    Visit Santa in more ways! For busy families, you can schedule an appointment to visit Santa! Appointments will be available daily from November 8 - December 24 and will be located on Level 1, near Macy’s. To book your appointment, please click here.   2. Salvation Army Bell Ringing

    The Salvation Army's bell ringing season has started and runs through Christmas Eve. There are 11 entrance locations around the Mall of America that have Salvation Army red kettles with bell ringers. With over 4,300 hours of bell ringing available at the Mall of America, The Salvation Army relies on volunteers to help fill those hours. Bell ringers raise an average of $30 per hour, enough money for The Salvation Army to provide a week’s worth of groceries for a person in need. For more information or to sign up online, click here.

  3. Universe of Light: Holiday Light Show

  5. Walk to End Hunger

    Give back before giving thanks this Thanksgiving morning at the Walk to End Hunger. A great family tradition that raises money to end hunger in our community. Event includes fun, “break a smile” activities on Level One for kids of all ages including music, games and activities, prizes, balloon animals, photo ops, visits with Santa and craft activities.  “Break a Sweat” on Level Two with a brisker pace and workout activities for the whole family.

  6. Ride for a Cause

    Spend Thanksgiving at Nickelodeon Universe! The cure for turkey overload, $10 Unlimited Ride Wristbands with all sales benefitting Folds of Honor. Experience six hours of unlimited thrills while benefitting this great charity. Folds of Honor gives scholarships to families of service men and women who are disabled or lost their lives serving our country. Mall of America also opens at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving, so make sure to check out the early Black Friday deals in between rides!

  7. Rixton Black Friday Performance + Signing

    British Pop/Rock/R&B band Rixton made their US debut with Me And My Broken Heart EP on March 18. Following release, the music video for the title track and their first single premiered on MTV worldwide while the song has already cracked the Top 20 chart. Hailing from Manchester, UK foursome Rixton are lead singer and rhythm guitarist Jake Roche, bass/keys, backing vocalist Danny Wilkin, lead guitarist and backing vocalist, Charley Bagnall, and drummer Lewi Morgan. We invite you to join us for this exclusive Black Friday event!

  8. Home Free Performance + CD Signing

  9. Verizon Presents: Greg Jennings

    As a Green Bay Packer wide receiver, Greg Jennings conquered football's greatest stage, "Super Bowl XLV," with the same sense of purpose and humility he brings to all life's challenges, both on and off the field. Now in his second season as a wide receiver with the Minnesota Vikings, Jennings is making his mark in Minnesota territory. For your chance to meet Greg Jennings in person, stop by the Verizon Destination Store at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2 where he will be making a special appearance for his biggest fans. You must have a Mall of America® issued wristband to attend this event. 250 wristbands will be available. Photos and Memorabilia will be allowed.

  10. Toddler Tuesdays: Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

  16. Ryan & Shannon's Largest

    We invite you to participate in Ryan & Shannon’s Largest “Clouds’ Choir for a Cause, presented by Best Buy, on Thursday, December 11, 6:30-7:30pm (check in 4-6pm) at Mall of America benefiting KS95 for Kids which raises money for Children’s Cancer Research Fund & Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare. No singing experience required! We’re hoping to get as many people as last year or even more to join us … school choirs, church choirs, groups and families. Register today and come out and join Ryan & Shannon and the Sobiech family to sing 4-5 holiday songs and for the finale, sing “Clouds” in memory of Zach Sobiech who passed away on May 20, 2013.   20. American Girl Minneapolis at the Nutcracker

    Fans of our Girl of the Year, Isabelle, an aspiring ballet dancer, won't want to miss this. For fifty years Loyce Houlton's Nutcracker Fantasy has been transporting audiences to a world of awe and wonder thanks to brilliant music from Tchaikovsky and Houlton's beautiful choreography. See why it has become the longest running holiday arts event in Minnesota history. The fun starts with lunch at the American Girl Bistro and an Isabelle Paper Doll craft. Then, we'll bus to the State Theater for the show for a photo opportunity in the lobby and a very special meet and greet with one of the ballerinas. Girls are invited to bring their dolls, of course! Includes transportation to and from the theater. Reservations required. For girls ages 8 and up.
