    Visit Santa in more ways! For busy families, you can schedule an appointment to visit Santa! Appointments will be available daily from November 8 - December 24 and will be located on Level 1, near Macy’s. To book your appointment, please click here. Visit with Santa in an intimate setting – DVDs of your visit will be available for purchase, along with other premiums like 16x20 portraits printed on-site!   2. Salvation Army Bell Ringing

    The Salvation Army's bell ringing season has started and runs through Christmas Eve. There are 11 entrance locations around the Mall of America that have Salvation Army red kettles with bell ringers. With over 4,300 hours of bell ringing available at the Mall of America, The Salvation Army relies on volunteers to help fill those hours. Bell ringers raise an average of $30 per hour, enough money for The Salvation Army to provide a week’s worth of groceries for a person in need. For more information or to sign up online, click here.

  3. Universe of Light: Holiday Light Show

  4. Catholic Charities Giving Tree 2014

    FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12 - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 23

    As a holiday tradition, the Giving Tree provides gifts to those who would not normally receive them. Each ornament on the Giving Tree represents one gift wish for homeless and low-income members of the community. Mall guests who select an ornament can purchase the item listed and return it to Catholic Charities in Macy’s Court. Catholic Charities will see that all gifts are delivered to those in need.

    Hours of operation: December 12- 22 are from 10 am - 7 pm and December 23 from 10 am - 3 pm

  6. American Girl Minneapolis at the Nutcracker

    Fans of our Girl of the Year, Isabelle, an aspiring ballet dancer, won't want to miss this. For fifty years Loyce Houlton's Nutcracker Fantasy has been transporting audiences to a world of awe and wonder thanks to brilliant music from Tchaikovsky and Houlton's beautiful choreography. See why it has become the longest running holiday arts event in Minnesota history. The fun starts with lunch at the American Girl Bistro and an Isabelle Paper Doll craft. Then, we'll bus to the State Theater for the show for a photo opportunity in the lobby and a very special meet and greet with one of the ballerinas. Girls are invited to bring their dolls, of course! Includes transportation to and from the theater. Reservations required. For girls ages 8 and up.

  7. WWE Tag Team Champions: Gold + Stardust Apperance

    Meet Minnesota Vikings Defensive End Everson Griffen, at the Vikings Locker Room store on Tuesday, December 23 at 5 p.m. The Vikings Locker Room store will be offering 20% off all purchases (excludes memorabilia) that day when you mention the event. A limited quantity of wristbands will be distributed starting at 3pm. One item per person with be signed.

  11. Special Olympics

    Please join Special Olympics Minnesota in kicking off the Polar Plunge season with games, giveaways and a whole lot of freezing fun!
