Stance, the brand known for turning socks into a fashion statement, to open first Midwest

location at Mall of America®

 

BLOOMINGTON, MN— June 3, 2019

Southern California-based basics apparel brand, Stance, announces the opening of its first Midwest location at Mall of America® in early June.

 

Stance will open the new store on level 1, South of Mall of America. The brand is renowned for taking an overlooked category – socks – and turning them into a notable fashion piece and critical performance apparel item. Besides collaborating with cultural icons like Rihanna, Allen Iverson, Billie Eilish, Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Chin to name just a few, Stance was the first brand to have its logo appear on the official uniform of the NBA when it signed a multiyear deal with the league to become its on-court sock. Stance is also currently the official sock of Major League Baseball.

 

By making “celebrating human originality” the central focal point of the brand, it has been able to successfully expand beyond socks into other basics categories. Visitors to Stance’s new retail location will be able to shop all of its categories, from everyday casual socks styles, to run, to golf, and adventure socks, as well as the brand’s t-shirts and men’s and women’s underwear collections.

 

Stance has 14 other retail stores, including locations in New York, London, Portland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, Las Vegas and Florida, and also releases seasonal collaborations with partners such as Disney, Star Wars, and Harley Davidson.
