Minneapolis, MN. (September, 9 2019) Chicken Guy! the new fast/casual restaurant chain by celebrity chef, Guy Fieri, and restaurateur, Robert Earl, will be opening its first Minnesota location early 2020. Mall of America®, the nation’s largest retail and entertainment destination, will welcome the new restaurant where diners can enjoy house-made, succulent chicken tenders paired with 22 signature sauces. The highly-anticipated date will be the 5th Chicken Guy! to open since its first location opened in Disney Springs the summer of 2018.
“'Go Big or Go Home’ has always been my motto and when it comes to bringin’ Chicken Guy! to Mall of America, I think it’s spot on,” said Guy Fieri. “The people of Minnesota know great food and I’ve been able to try a lot of it while visiting on DDD. But now, I’m stoked to add a lit bit of my own flavor with my real deal chicken tenders and sauces.”

Chicken Guy! prides itself on its all-natural fresh chicken tenders, hand-pounded to maximize crunch and paired with a wide selection of delicious sauces. Brined in fresh lemon juice, pickle juice and buttermilk, and infused with fresh herbs, these tenders deliver on flavor and texture. The menu features the tenders—grilled or fried—in sandwiches, straight up on skewers, or in meal-sized salad bowls, your choice of signatures sauces to enjoy with the chicken. The real star of the show are the 22 different sauces. A couple popular sauces include Donkey Sauce, Nashville Honey Hot, Avocado Crema, Peri Peri and Curry Mayonnaise; there is something for everyone.

Chicken Guy! is not only known for its chicken, but also for its tempting sides like Chicken Guy Fries with Guy’s special fry seasoning, crowd pleasing Mac Daddy Mac ‘n Cheese, fried pickles and fresh slaw. Looking to satisfy your sweet tooth? Chicken Guy! has two delicious Flavortown Frozen Treats that will make anyone’s mouth water. Guests can satisfy their sweet tooth with the Triple Double Ice Cream Treat--triple chocolate and double mint, or the Cinnamon Apple, a heaping cup vanilla soft serve ice cream smothered in Cinnamon Toast Crunchâ & Apple Jacksâ cereal.
The restaurant’s design recently won Shop! Association's Gold Fast Casual Restaurant + Graphics Award. Rough brick walls and corrugated tin ceilings provide an edgy, urban, industrial backdrop to colorful graphics. Simple illustration-style graphics throughout the restaurant can be described as “in-your-face and playful” - on brand with Fieri’s famous personality. Guy greets visitors at a selfie wall in the que area and the restaurant's differentiators are expressed with colorful graphics. Ample seating in the food hall provides a casual and comfortable dining experience for Chicken Guy! guests.
