Mall of America® adds new and first-to-market concepts for back to school season

Recent and upcoming openings introduce new brands, dining, and entertainment concepts as shoppers prepare for the new school year

BLOOMINGTON, MN — August 19, 2026

Mall of America® is heading into the back to school season with a slate of recent and upcoming openings across shopping, dining, and entertainment. From new names to anticipated arrivals, the latest additions give guests more to experience while introducing several brands and concepts making their first entry into the market.

 

RECENTLY OPENED BRANDS

Boot Barn (Level 3, North)
Boot Barn has unveiled its newly expanded and remodeled Mall of America location, nearly doubling down on the western and workwear experience guests know and love. The nearly 7,500-square-foot store features an expanded assortment of western wear, workwear, cowboy and work boots, outdoor gear and western-inspired fashion, along with services including boot fitting, boot stretching, and complimentary hat cleaning and shaping.

Giordano’s (Level 3, South)
Giordano’s has brought its signature Chicago-style deep-dish pizza to Mall of America. Known for its handcrafted stuffed pizzas with a buttery crust, layers of cheese and slow-baked preparation, the Chicago-born restaurant also serves a full menu of Italian-inspired dishes, offering guests plenty to explore beyond its celebrated pizza.

J.Crew (Level 1, South)
The iconic fashion retailer J.Crew has re-opened with a nearly 7,000-square-foot store. The new location features the brand’s signature men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel and accessories, blending J.Crew’s timeless American style and quality craftsmanship with a fresh, modern perspective.

Lulus (Level 1, North)
Just in time for homecoming season, Lulus is bringing its modern, feminine style to shoppers with a limited-time pop-up. Guests can browse a curated selection of on-trend homecoming, cocktail, and formal dresses, along with wedding guest and bridesmaid looks and accessories for every celebration and special occasion.

 

COMING SOON BRANDS

adidas (Level 2, East)
adidas will open its first full-price Brand Concept store in Minnesota this fall, featuring the brand’s newest global retail concept.  At the center of the store will be an enhanced Made For You (MFY) experience, providing consumers with opportunities to personalize and customize their products through both service and product-based offerings. Guests will also find an elevated Anthony Edwards shop celebrating the Minnesota Timberwolves star and adidas athlete.

ARIAT International (Level 1, South)
ARIAT International’s largest-ever retail store will span 10,500 square feet and introduce a first-to-market concept. The store will showcase the brand’s premium riding and work boots, Western wear, denim, outdoor apparel, and accessories, blending authentic craftsmanship with modern performance and comfort technology.

Bubble Planet (Level 3, West)
Bubble Planet will transport guests into a whimsical world filled with bubbles, color, light, and imagination. The 60- to 90-minute immersive attraction will feature vibrant themed rooms, giant bubbles, glowing LED environments, infinity rooms, virtual reality adventures, and interactive experiences. The first-to-market attraction will offer a colorful new experience for families, friends, and visitors of all ages.

Cotton & Snow (Level 3, South)
Cotton & Snow will make its Minnesota debut with premium shaved ice and signature cotton candy creations. Founded in Nashville, the brand is known for its ultra-fine shaved ice made with real fruit and premium ingredients, along with imaginative combinations featuring freshly spun cotton candy and locally sourced ice cream. Guests can expect flavors such as Strawberry Shortcake, Hawaiian Rainbow, and Banana Pudding.

House of Seoul (Level 2, South)
House of Seoul’s new flagship location will feature a curated selection of Korean, Japanese, and multicultural beauty brands, offering everything from viral skincare favorites to dermatologist-recommended essentials. More than a beauty retailer, the store combines personalized product recommendations, a complimentary AI skin analyzer, and expert guidance to help every guest build a skincare routine that fits their unique needs while celebrating global beauty trends and self-care.

Kiokii and… (Level 2, West)
Kiokii and… will open its first Minnesota location and second U.S. store. The female-led, BIPOC-owned Asian beauty and lifestyle retailer offers a curated selection of skincare, cosmetics, personal care, and lifestyle products sourced from Korea, Japan, and China. Guests can shop sought-after brands including Beauty of Joseon, COSRX, Anua, TIRTIR, Biodance, Medicube, and Shiseido in an immersive boutique-style environment.

Madewell + Madewell Men (Level 1, South)
Madewell will unveil an expanded and remodeled store featuring the brand’s latest retail concept and the arrival of Madewell Men. The nearly 5,500-square-foot space will offer an enhanced assortment of apparel, accessories, footwear, and denim, while Madewell Men will introduce men’s clothing, denim, outerwear, and everyday essentials to the Mall for the first time.

Noriteo + Noriteo Express (Level 3, West and Metro Transit Station)
Korean food concepts Noriteo and Noriteo Express will make their Minnesota debut with two distinct locations. Noriteo’s larger flagship will offer an immersive build-your-own ramyun experience, boba beverages, interactive photo moments, and a curated ramen wall, while Noriteo Express will offer a fast-paced format in the Mall’s Metro Transit Station. Together, the concepts combine Korean street food, K-culture, and playful experiences.

Primark (Level 1, Southeast Court)
Global fashion and lifestyle retailer Primark will open its first Minnesota location in a more than 45,000-square-foot space. The store will offer men’s, women’s, and kids’ fashion, along with home, beauty, and lifestyle products. Known for trend-forward styles and accessible prices, Primark’s arrival marks the brand’s continued growth in the U.S. and its official entry into the Minnesota market.

Rolife (Level 2, East)
Rolife’s first-to-market flagship concept will create an immersive destination centered around creativity and hands-on experiences. The store will feature DIY miniature kits, 3D wooden puzzles, collectible figures, blind boxes, and products from Robotime’s Rolife, ROKR, and Rowood brands. Guests will also be able to participate in workshops, live demonstrations, and interactive events.

 

The back to school season is just the start of what is arriving at Mall of America. More stores, restaurants and experiences are set to open through the end of the year, bringing a mix of established names, emerging brands and several concepts making their first entry into the market. Together, the arrivals offer even more reasons to see what is taking shape at Mall of America in the months ahead.
