Hot Indian Foods, a locally owned dining joint, opens newest location

at Mall of America®

BLOOMINGTON, MN— Feb. 21, 2018

Hot Indian Foods, known for their flavorful cuisine served in a creative and approachable way, will open at Mall of America on level 3, North this summer.

Hot Indian simplifies Indian cuisine by serving up delicious Indian flavors in more familiar formats, such as their signature Indurrito (Indian Burrito) and rice bowls.

The menu will include savory choices like a slow braised dry rubbed leg of lamb mixed with channa masala, yogurt-marinated chicken simmered in a creamy tomato curry and smooth aromatic masala sauce packed with chickpeas. Hot Indian Foods will also offer sides including Indian-seasoned potato fries, samosas and crispy fried chickpeas.

“Hot Indian Foods is all about making Indian cuisine and culture more accessible to a broader audience. What better place to reach a broader audience than at Mall of America,” said CEO and Founder Amol Dixit. “People visiting Mall of America are there to have a good time, and we look forward to adding a little spice to their day!”

Hot Indian Foods has locations in Midtown Global Market, Target Field, and a food truck which first launched in 2013.

“Hot Indian Foods is the perfect addition to the eclectic mix of dining options at Mall of America,” said VP of Leasing Carrie Charleston. “Indian cuisine is quickly becoming part of the fast casual craze and has been highly requested from guests. We’re thrilled to have them join us.”
