Nickelodeon Universe Chaperone Policy
For safety reasons, all rides in Nickelodeon Universe have a height requirement. These requirements are clearly marked at the entrance to each ride and attraction. Some height requirements allow smaller riders to ride with a chaperone. When a chaperone is required for the child to be able to ride, only the child needs a ticket. If the child is tall enough to ride on their own, and the chaperone would like to ride with them, then both the child and chaperone will need a ticket. A chaperone is defined as a person who is qualified to ride and who, in the opinion of the ride operator, is capable of controlling the actions of the unqualified rider. Please read each of the following requirements carefully:

Many amusement park rides incorporate safety systems designed by the manufacturer to accommodate people of average physical stature and body proportions. These safety systems may place restrictions on the ability of an individual to safely experience the ride. Guests with the following may reconsider riding the ride, as the rider may not be safely accommodated:

- Had recent surgery
- Currently pregnant
- Body braces, leg or arm casts
- Restrictive devices
- Physical disabilities
Nickelodeon Universe retail shops and Guest Services are accessible to guests with mobility impairments. Located on level two of Nickelodeon Universe are El Circulo del Cielo ride and Dutchman’s Deck Adventure Course attraction. These facilities are accessible to guests with mobility impairments by using one of the elevators located near:
- Northeast corner of Nickelodeon Universe
- West entrance to Nickelodeon Universe
Each ride has specific height and weight requirements. To view the safety requirements for specific rides and to read more about accessibility, please see a Rider Safety Guide available at Guest Services.
