Mall of America® to welcome Fire & Wave, its first dedicated hot pot restaurant
New interactive dining concept combines hot pot, with handcrafted sushi, and all-you-can-eat customizable experiences

Mall of America® is turning up the heat with the upcoming arrival of Fire & Wave, a new innovative dining concept that blends individual hot pot, handcrafted sushi, and immersive entertainment into one dynamic experience. As Mall of America's first hot pot restaurant, Fire & Wave introduces the interactive dining experience, where guests cook fresh ingredients in a simmering pot of flavorful broth customizing every meal to their own taste.
Visitors can choose between two all-you-can-eat options: unlimited hot pot or the signature hot pot and sushi combination, which includes unlimited hot pot and a selection of made-to-order sushi from the all-you-can-eat menu. The restaurant features individual hot pot stations with a variety of signature broths, quality meats, seafood, fresh vegetables, noodles, tofu, dumplings, and a build-your-own sauce bar. Individual hot pot stations allow each guest to choose their own broth, ingredients, and spice level, making the experience easy to personalize for different tastes.
Guests who select the combination option can also enjoy a full sushi menu featuring freshly prepared sushi rolls, vegetarian rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and small plates such as miso soup, edamame, and gyoza. Premium selections such as wagyu beef and other specialty items will be available à la carte for an additional charge. Designed with families and groups in mind, Fire & Wave will offer a welcoming environment where guests of all ages can enjoy a personalized and interactive dining experience.

Featuring two distinct environments, the restaurant’s “Fire Zone” showcases warm orange hues inspired by the energy of hot pot, and the “Wave Zone” with cool blue tones and ocean-inspired elements that reflect the freshness of its sushi offerings. Beyond dining Fire & Wave plans to feature performances from local musicians and artists, celebrating both Asian culture and the Twin Cities creatives.
