Mall of America® leads retail innovation by bringing globally influential Asian brands and experiences to Minnesota
Expanding its lineup of sought-after Asian retailers, dining concepts, and cultural events as consumer demand grows
BLOOMINGTON, MN — July 6, 2026
Asian brands and cultural trends are reshaping consumer behavior across retail, beauty, dining, and entertainment; and Mall of America® is at the forefront of that movement. As the nation's largest retail and entertainment destination, Mall of America has become a premier hub for discovering sought-after brands, immersive experiences, and cultural phenomena driving global consumer trends. Through its growing lineup of Asian retailers, restaurants, and cultural events, the Mall is bringing some of the world's most influential concepts to Minnesota and the Midwest.
Mall of America is home to some of the most recognizable Asian brands driving consumer trends today. POP MART continues to attract collectors with its highly coveted blind boxes and exclusive product launches, while MINISO offers trend-forward lifestyle products that resonate with younger shoppers. Soon, Rolife will debut its first Midwest flagship store at Mall of America, featuring globally popular DIY miniature houses, creative building kits, and an immersive DIY experience. Ebisu brings a curated selection of Japanese and Asian merchandise, including anime collectibles, beauty products, specialty snacks and home goods. Guests can also experience DUCK!, the interactive arcade and dining destination that combines claw machine gaming, boba and popular collectibles such as Labubu and Sonny Angel, creating a social experience inspired by trends that have gained widespread popularity across Asia and beyond.
The Mall’s dining scene has also evolved alongside this cultural shift. Guests can explore a growing collection of authentic Asian-founded concepts, from hand-pulled noodles and ramen to boba, tanghulu, sushi, and Korean street food. The lineup includes Kura Sushi, Beard Papa’s, Mochinut, Ichido Ramen, Sweet Crunch Tanghulu, Noriteo, and Noriteo Express, alongside the recent debut of Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodles, marking the brand’s first U.S. location. Niko Niko Boba, now operating three Mall of America locations including its flagship, continues to draw guests with its seasonal drinks, exclusive collaborations, and fan-favorite staples.
A growing demand for Asian skincare and cosmetics has helped shape Mall of America’s beauty assortment. Kiokii and... and House of Seoul offer curated selections of Korean and Asian beauty products, while retailers including Ulta Beauty and Sephora continue to broaden their K-beauty offerings.
“Guests today are looking for experiences that feel authentic, immersive, and culturally relevant,” said Carrie Charleston, Vice President and Head of Leasing at Mall of America. “The growth of Asian-founded brands and experiences throughout the Mall reflects evolving consumer interests and the strong demand for concepts that offer something distinctive. These brands combine compelling products, community engagement, and experiential elements in a way that continues to attract new and existing consumers.”
Beyond retail and dining, Mall of America has become a hub for cultural engagement and community connection, hosting major events including the Korean Culture Festival, Midwest K-Pop Festival, Autumn Moon Festival, and Panda Fest. The Mall has also welcomed global artists including KATSEYE, which drew a sold-out crowd to the Huntington® Bank Rotunda in 2024 and returned last fall for a surprise appearance at a KPOP NARA fan event ahead of the retailer's opening. Most recently, Mall of America served as a stop on AMPERS&ONE's U.S. tour, further strengthening its role as a destination for K-pop fans and cultural experiences throughout the Midwest.
By identifying emerging trends and introducing globally influential brands and experiences, Mall of America continues to strengthen its position as a leader in retail innovation and cultural discovery.
